Conventional Oven:

  1. Preheat oven to 3500F.
  2. Remove ham from its package and cover it completely with aluminum foil to retain moisture.
  3. Place the carving ham in a shallow roasting pan.
  4. Heat for approximately 15 minutes/lb. Start checking the internal temperature frequently after 90 minutes of cooking. Once internal temperature reaches 1400F, removed it from oven.
  5. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
